At least 14 tourists lost their lives in a tragic incident when a tempo traveller from Noida fell into the Alaknanda river in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. The incident occurred on Tuesday, leaving the nation shocked and saddened by the loss of innocent lives.
The ill-fated tempo traveller was carrying a group of tourists from Noida to the picturesque hill station of Auli in Uttarakhand. It is believed that the driver lost control of the vehicle while navigating a sharp turn on the hilly terrain, causing it to plunge into the Alaknanda river.
